Fall Break!

Time flies when you are having fun! We have been very busy on our fall break. We started it off with a beautiful trip to the Arboretum in Dallas with Maw Maw on Friday. They have really great treehouses and incredible flowers right now, too bad I forgot my camera! Saturday, Michael had his first buddy birthday party, which was very cute. The whole weekend all the way through Monday was one big slumber party! Monday night, we had four little girls, wow, they were really loud and excessively giggly. Tuesday we went to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History with some sweet neighbors and to the Jane Goodall movie at the omni, Michael much enjoyed making monkey calls. Wednesday we went to the Apple Orchard in Roanoke with some girls from church, the kids enjoyed learning not just about Johnny Appleseed, but spinning cotton, and worms too. Thursday we went to the State Fair of Texas to see Big Tex and ride the Ferris Wheel, we even enjoyed a couple of really expensive, yet tasty snacks. Friday we went to the Fort Worth Zoo, which we always really enjoy, and let the kids sleep in the living room.

This morning we got up early to go to work with daddy, can you imagine what my house looked like after this week? Of course the house got shown. Fortunatly I made it home with just enough time to do a really quick cleanup! All that fun and a clean house, the perfect end to a great week.

We are going to need the weekend to get some rest.
