The Zoo

Michael woke up Bailey last Monday morning saying, "wake up Boo Boo, Paw Paw is taking us to the zoo!" We of course had no plans, so I had him call Paw Paw. Paw Paw said not today, but the weather was perfect, so we headed for the zoo and got our passes for the year. It was beautiful weather and we even saw a few familiar faces. That is always nice.

While we ate our picnic lunch, Michael decided to chat with some of his Jeep friends and even shared his baseball hat.

I love the picture in the snake house. It isn't the best photo of Bailey, but notice how the turtles in the water look just like the kids all in a row. He he he!

The snake in the next picture follow Bailey's finger all over the tank for a minute or so, it was creepy. The snakes were really active. Bailey really enjoyed taking tons of pictures at the zoo with my camera.

She is getting to be a great photographer. She said she wants to be a photojournalist when she grows up.

One of Blake's favorite things to do at the zoo is to fish at the Texas Wild exhibit. He finally caught one despite the little kids next to us and their best efforts at sabotage.
