We had a nice time at the State Fair of Texas, it is incredibly expensive however. My dad was smart, he gave the kids their own money. They went on the ferris wheel and opted to spend the rest elsewhere where it would go farther. Smart.
We had a great free tour guide through the barns and enjoyed all the art. The petting zoo is also always a favorite! We enjoyed our day.

Glad to see all the updates! The China cabinet looks great! Do you know that Mark and I have never been to the fair. We have lived here 14 years, and we still haven't gone!
