We had really great intentions for Spring Break, but life happened! We started out strong though. It sound really funny, but Saturday, the kids had the best time ever helping out with us at a garage sale to raise money for a family adopting a baby boy from China.
That Saturday, the sale made about $4,200! The kids had a bake sale. When things were wrapping up, they played into the night. You can only imagine how much stuff was involved in a sale that big.
They sold the rest of the stuff the next Friday for about $600. It took up about the space of a three car garage, floor to ceiling!!! My friend Laura tagged all of it almost all by herself with the exception of a few volunteers!
As you can imagine, we were wiped out Sunday, and rested Monday. Blake was sick Tuesday when Bailey and I went to the zoo with some of the cousins, we left just in time for the torrential rain to hit just as we approached home sweet home! That night we took the kids to the urgent care.
Since they were both given a clean bill of health, we rested Wednesday, and Bailey had a sleepover after church with some of the girls at Aunt Rhonda's house. Thursday, we headed for Six Flags to get the Season passes the kids earned! It was packed, and the Dr. Called to let me know that Bailey did in fact have Strep Throat! (She had mocked me at the Urgent Care)
Friday we were home contageous and Saturday and Sunday, we were at the church installing bulletin boards for the childrens wing. Getting geared up for the Children's program kickoff at church.
Not exactly what I had planned for Spring Break. Oh well. Summer is right around the corner. Sorry, no photos this week.

I am sorry that spring break wasn't what you planned. It sounded like you stayed busy though. Hope the kids are feeling better!
What a relaxing, fun-filled week - in your dreams. Oh well, summer is just around the corner. We can go to Six Flags together!
Wow, sounds really busy. I appreciate your servant heart!
