We had a great time eating brisket, corn, brocolli salad, Nanny's blue grass salad, Beth's pasta salad, bisquits and Maw Maw's famous chocolate sheet cake and then headed out to hunt some eggs.This year, they were mostly confetti eggs since we just got 5 cavities filled!!! The kids had a great time smashing the eggs on each other (mostly Bryan,) and then whoever else they could find close enough. They even got a little juggling lesson from Kevan.
Check out Beth in the middle. Her belly is really poking out there. She even had enough energy left to go home and paint purple rick rack around her pink on pink baby room! You go girl!
Michael's Grammy Glenda even got to come this year! We enjoyed having so many of our people all in one place to celebrate such a special day. It was a great Easter! Praise God that Jesus is Risen!
I also learned yesterday that when early Christian greeted one another, they would say, "He is risen," and the other person would say, "He is risen indeed." I am so glad they kept the faith in Jesus. He is risen!
Now off to plan Bailey's birthday for next Saturday, she is having a Spa party. Anyone want to paint nails?
PS! For those of you who knew Bailey was doing leadership training for Christ this year, her team got a Bronze. We are so proud!!!! She can quote and apply the book of Acts like nobody's business. She still wants to listen to it every night.
