We really lucked out! Disney MGM is currently having Star Wars weekends at the Disney MGM studios. As you probably are aware, Blake just had aStar Wars birthday party. Right off the bat, Bryan and the kids got to take their picture with yoda in robes. Just inside the gates, we enjoyed a great parade of Star Wars characters. We just happened to be in perfect position when the gates opened up.
Of course the first character was Jedi Mickey, whom we got photos with later! Two of the characters in the parade singled us out and got right in our faces. It was awesome. I screamed when one ran at me and he stayed in my face until I stopped screaming. It was so funny. I yelled as long as I could. It was such a movie moment. Bailey clung to my leg the whole time. She is still a little sqeemish when it comes to people dressed up in scary costumes.
We loved all the Star Wars themed special events! We got to see so many of our favorite characters. Michael even got up close and personal with Chewie and a Wookie while we rode the Star Wars Star Tours ride. The Rockin Roller Coaster was closed, but Blake took his first ride on the tower of terror. He closed his eyes the whole time, and then begged to do it again. When we got off Bailey decided she would like to try it too.
We decided to come back to MGM for a second day. . .
